Live-Lap Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

The Live-Lap.com Tracker publishes the vehicles current GPS position on the Live-Lap.com website. This allows fans and team members to follow your race.

The app provides a simple way to let your fans take part in the race. For this purpose, position, speed and time of recording is sent to the Live-Lap.com server. The data are then displayed on the Live-Lap.com website with just a small delay.
The benefits of these live-data are:
- The team knows when the vehicle will enter the pitlane for the next pitstop.
- Fans on the track know when they have to get ready to take the next photo.
- Even fans at home can follow your race and congratulate you as soon as you finished the race.

Free Account:

A quick, simple and free registration and you are ready to send your current
position to the server. Moreover you get access to already planned features like team description, vehicle management or debriefing support based on the stored GPS data.

Selectable tracks:

Select from a list of provided racetracks. Fans that track your vehicle, will then get the track automatically displayed, so they always know
where you racing and in which section of the track the vehicle is located.

While currently one tracker is preset, you will get the opportunity to choose between self-defined trackers in a future release.
This supports you in quickly switching between different vehicles all managed in one account.

Start the Tracker before the race starts and store it safely in the vehicle.
While the race is running, you don’t have to worry about anything. If the Internet connection is lost during the race, the app automatically tries to restore the connection and continues transferring.
You can concentrate on your race and drive safely across the finish line.

The app is optimised to consume the least possible amount of data of your contract. To avoid unnecessary data consumption deactivate the tracker after the race is finished.

Please note that the quality of data is dependent on the GPS reception of the device and the network availability. Please check the contract of your cellphone as additional costs may apply when sending and receiving data over the internet.

When tracking the GPS position the GPS is active in the background.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
